You are completely right! That’s why we received approval from the CASA to operate First Person View (FPV) drones near people, as well as operate Beyond the Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) drones at Class 1 level 😉🙌🏻

Hi, Filip. I wish I could give you great news, but unfortunately CASA regulations are a bit strict here. Accordingly with their website: "You must always keep your drone within your visual line-of-sight. This means you can see the drone with your own eyes, rather than through an electronic device, video screen or goggles." I dont understand your comment, I might missed something here but don't you said in your video that in Australia today we can fly it as long as there is a spotter near the pilot and the distance to other people is one meter minimum?

This shark was spotted very close to Leighton Beach. It seems small because there is nothing around to compare in the video, but a boat came close, and it was not that small 😬😉

Thank you so much for the kind words! 80-90% of the footage, we used DJI Inspire 2 with lenses from 24 to 50 mm. There are some clips we used a DJI Mavic 3 ;)

@@skyperthproductions I could sense the compression in some of the shots. The new Mavic Pro 3 has some improved zoom lenses. It will be interesting to see the results over the coming months.

The guys from @fpvaustralia helped us with the application process and we also paid the CASA fee. From application to getting the instruments signed it took 4-5 months 😊
